TOUR ITINERARY
  • 07:00: Departure from the starting point at the parking lot behind the main entrance of the Alexander Nevski Cathedral, in front of “la Cathedrale” restaurant.
  • 09:30: Arrival in the town of Kazanlak and meeting the English speaking guide. You’ll travel together to the rose fields, where you’ll have an excellent opportunity for some great photos.
  • 11:00: You’ll arrive at the Ethnographic Complex “Damascena”, where you’ll learn more about the production and use of the rose oil.
  • 12:30: You’ll have some free time for lunch. The guide will be with the group the entire time.
  • 13:30: A visit to the Thracian tomb, a UNESCO site, dating back from the 4th century BC.
  • 14:30: A guided visit to the elegant Russian style church of the Nativity and if time allows to the Shipka peak for great panoramic views.
  • 16:00: You’ll leave our local guide in Kazanlak and will use a different route between the Balkan and Sredna Gora Mountain. Your English-speaking driver will stop you for a short break in Koprvishtitsa, a small town showcasing in the best way the Bulgarian Renaissance architecture.
  • 18:00: Arrival at Koprivshtitsa for a short photo stop.
  • 19:30: Arrival at the starting point at Aleksander Nevski Cathedral
